One of my favorite shows from the UK, Brainiacs, has a new segment this season showing fast things very slowly.  This particular segment shows a person being slapped in the face at very slow speed and is facinating to watch.

The first book in Terry Pratchet's amazing Disc World series, The Colour of Magic, has been adapted for television and will be aired on the UK's Sky One on Easter Sunday. This was made by the same people that produced Hogfather, another Disc World adaptation, and if the production values from that are any indication, this new adaptation should be fantastic. I hope this trend of continues!

While Colour of Magic is only being released in the UK, I am sure those of us outside the country can still find a way to watch this...

At this year's CES, Gizmodo was offered a TV-B-Gone by make Magazine to play with -- and this video is the result. A lot of people have commented that this was a horribly mean spirited prank, but I just think it is horribly funny.
